Rochebonne castle
At an altitude of 850 m, Château de Rochebonne stands sentinel over the Eyrieux valley. It offers a remarkable view of the Boutières mountain range and the Mézenc-Gerbier massif.
The remains of this 11th-century monument are steeped in history. You'll be captivated by the legendary nature of the site and its natural surroundings. It was once a vast and magnificent seigneurial residence, belonging to the illustrious and ancient house of Châteauneuf.
